Ioanna Dimitrakaki was born on December 11th, 1986, in Thessaloniki and lives in Serres,
Greece. She studied Commerce and Quality Control of Agricultural Products at the Technical
Educational Institute of Western Macedonia (2005–2009). She earned two master’s degrees
from Kingston University, UK (MA in Business Management, 2011; MBA, 2012) and a PhD in
Economics and Industrial Business Administration from South-West University “Neofit
Rilski,” Bulgaria (2014–2017). Since 2021, she has taught management at the International
Hellenic University, where she is now a professor in Accounting and Information Systems.
She served on the editorial board of Management Science and Engineering (2018–2020). She
speaks English, Bulgarian, and Russian, and focuses her research on management and
marketing.
