Speech Title: Embracing new ideas in management, economics, and accounting in times of global uncertainty

Pat is an assistant professor at CamEd Business School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He has been working in Southeast Asia for 6 years now and focuses on development of the financial sector. Pat studied at UC Berkeley, Sciences Po, Paris, and the London School of Economics before heading to Asia. His research interests include the financial system, banking regulations, sovereign wealth funds, and micro finance institutions. He also helped in founding and is currently the managing director of InterConnexia, a business process outsourcing firm with hundreds of employees in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The main focus of the private firm is in the luxury goods space.

Prof. Onesmus Ayaya

Prof. Onesmus Ayaya is a qualified senior financial expert from South Africa with 33 years of professional experience. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Research, a master’s degree with a business and finance concentration, a PhD (Business Management) and professional accountancy certifications with the SAICA and the CIMA (U.K). Onesmus’ professional experience combines academics with public finance management consultancy, which helped him earn 22 refereed journal articles.

Dr. Juliane Proelss

Dr. Juliane Proelss is employed as Associate Professor in Finance at John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, Montréal, Canada where she holds the Jacques Ménard-BMO Professorship in Capital Markets. She was awarded the titles CAIA, CFP, CFEP and CGA. Her research interest lays in modern financing instruments and corporate finance.

Assoc Prof. Hadeer Mounir Mourad Ahmed Mahmoud

Dr. Hadeer Mounir is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the German University in Cairo (GUC). She has obtained her PhD in Finance from the GUC in 2022. She has a total of 10 years of experience in teaching. Her areas of interest include Asset pricing, corporate finance, corporate governance and sustainability.

Dr. Leana Esterhuyse

Dr. Leana Esterhuyse (PhD) is a senior lecturer at the School of Applied Accountancy of the University of South Africa. She is also a chartered accountant with many years of teaching costing and financial management to postgraduate students. Her research interests are in voluntary reporting and other communications by listed entities, applying textual and quantitative methods.

Dr. Albert Yirmiyahu

Dr. Yirmiyahu received his Ph.D. in Public Policy from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Albert Yirmiyahu is a lecturer in the Faculty of Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and in the Department of Industrial Management at Sapir Academic College, where he teaches various courses in Statistics and Economics.
Albert’s research focuses on various issues of Human Capital, the Labor Market, and the Economics of Education.

Mr. Sayan Kombarov

Sayan Kombarov. ACCA Affiliate, BSc. Graduated in 1996 from the Physics Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University. Currently he is the director of Ecowatt LLP. Interests include wind energy, mathematical and physical theory of economics, finance, information and data science. He is the author of “Energy of Human Action: Physical aspects of Economics for free Market, Sound Money, Peace and Prosperity”.

Her research areas: communication skills development and training, pedagogical and social-psychological dilemmas of the use of external incentives, psychological and communication factors of personal effectiveness and success, financial literacy, causes of financial vulnerability and opportunities for its development. For twelve years, he was the senior editor of the scientific journal Pénzügy Szemle/Public Finance Quarterly. So far, a total of 230 scientific publications have been published in the fields of communication, social psychology, education and financial culture. Her scientific publications have been cited by more than 1,200 people.”

Mr. Abdul Jalil Mahama Alhassan Iddrisu Zaapayim

Mr. Abdul Jalil Mahama Alhassan Iddrisu Zaapayim is currently the branch operational manager of the Agricultural Development Bank PLC, Ghana and stationed at Yendi in the northern region of Ghana.
He is certified banker (2013) by chartered Institute of Bankers and again an affiliate member of the chartered institute of Human Resource practitioners of Ghana. He earned MBA/MCOM in HR from the university of Cape Coast Ghana and currently is a third-year student PhD in Business Administration at Nobel International Business School, Ghana.

She is originally from Pune, India but at present residing in Niedersachsen, German. She us currently a PHD research scholar at MIT ADT University,. She is pursuing her doctorate (distance-learning) in English Literature from one of the esteemed and well-renowned universities of India, MIT ADT University, Pune, India; with focus on Feminisn in Indian English Literature. She has completed all her education in the field of literature and languages; with her Bachelor’s in German Language and Literature (University of Pune), Masters in English (University of Pune) and her Post Graduation Diploma in Comparative Literatures and Cultures from the renowned University of Bristol, United Kingdom. She has completed her German Language certification courses till the Intermediate B2 level and continued with the German language education at the University of Bristol. Ms. Louisa Amoako Quaicoe

Louisa Amoako Quaicoe, a Solicitor and Barrister at the Supreme Court of Ghana, is a Ph.D. student specializing in business administration at Nobel International Business School Ghana, and a beneficiary of the Ghana Education Trust Fund awards (GET Fund). She is the Commercial Legal Manager at Ghana National Gas Company.

Mr. Raul Gonzalez Muñoz

Raul Gonzalez Muñoz graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and with an MSc degree in Knowledge Management for Innovation at Cranfield University, as part of a joint degree programme between the two universities. He continued his studies in Cranfield University obtaining a PhD in Aerospace manufacturing, in a close collaboration with Airbus operations UK. After working for a year in Airbus Toulouse, he then conducted studies in Sciences Po University in Paris and joined the Space Task Force at the European External Action Service in Brussels. Currently, he is leading a research project within Capgemini Engineering.

Dr. Iyad Snunu

Dr. Iyad Snunu completed PhD degree in economics and accounting at the West University of Timisoara, Romania. A Lecturer and researcher in economics and accounting at Tel Hai Academic College, Yezraeel Valley College and Arab American College. Snunu’s research focuses on the labour market, economic development, and growth of the Arab community as an ethnic minority in Israel.

Prof. Ulingeta Obadia Lebson Nasobile Mbamba PhD (Dar), Lic. (Umea), MBA (Nairobi), BSc (Eng) (Dar) is Associate Professor, Department of General Management at the University of Dar es Salaam.
