Mehmet Civelek is an assistant professor at Doğuş University (Türkiye). He received his PhD in credit risk management for SMEs from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czechia. His research focuses on SME financing and entrepreneurship. He has contributed to research projects in Czechia, Slovakia, and the Netherlands and has taught several courses in different universities in Türkiye, Czechia, France, Italy, and Bulgaria. He has also held postdoctoral positions at several universities and research centers across Europe. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles published in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
